Trip to BATAM

Whoa... went on a trip to Batam with my family...

My first trip with them in ten years I think... Yup just about there... It's been so long.

I do have photos but they're all with my sister. Blah.....

We went to this... Waterfront Park (something like that) and had a look at the go-cart thing (dunno how to spell...) .... it was really rundown and no one was playing at all. The toilet was unflushable and there was no water to wash our hands with. Sigh...

Then we went to this Temple... Tian An Mi Le Fuo Yuan... and there was this HUGE statue of Buddha.... really huge! 20 Metres++ tall ... Fuah. it was cool.

We went to this 933 Seafood place... and the rice was... yuckky. The prawns were not fresh, the vege was funny, the soup was empty. :P And it caused my IBS to upset... and that made me stay in the hotel for the rest of the day. My family went shopping (not many shops open due to CNY) and came home with delicious dinner (much nicer than 933). We ate watching TCS8. hehheh That Jack Neo show. :P

The hotel room (Batam View) was ok.... bathtub and all. The swimming pool was filthy though.

We did get a shock the next morning when we saw one of the bathrooms (we had adjoining rooms) filled with muddy brown water. It was WIERD. urgh.
