Pretty so WHAT?

Wah you see, she so pretty...
She is so pretty sure got a lot of guys woo her.
Wah you see that salesman quickly go and tend to her, all because she's so pretty.
Aiyah she's so pretty that's why so many people go her blog lah.
Of course she get better treatment la, she's pretty mah.

Pretty? So what?

Bobo was on the MRT train and it was not very crowded however there weren't any seats left. Bobo was one of the very few standing in that cabin. She was carrying a lot of paper bags and left them on the floor near her feet. When someone alighted, Bobo was relieved to get a seat as the paper bags were falling all over the place.

Bobo then noticed this pretty girl in her early twenties sitting opposite her. She also noticed the two guys sitting beside her, obviously being *extra* nice to her. She was enjoying the attention really. Due to the timing, Bobo and these three seemed to be the only ones in this age group in that section of the cabin.

At the next stop, an elderly lady boarded the train. She hobbled to the centre, between Bobo and the Babe. Bobo hesitated a little, thanks to all the stupid paper bags but stood for the old lady. The old lady who obviously had trouble balancing, was very grateful to get a seat. So there Bobo was again, standing in the middle with paper bags falling all over. She faced the Babe and the Babe averted her eyes, embarrassed. And the conversation among the three also stopped then.

A little while later, a middle aged man gave up his seat for Bobo, seeing the trouble she had. He said that he was getting off in a few stops so it was alright for Bobo to have the seat.

The point is...

WHY DIDN'T THEY GIVE UP THEIR SEAT?!
They didn't even budge...

What's the use of being pretty when you're not pretty inside? Use your charms to get one of the guys off the seat. It'll be better if you had stood up yourself but if it's really THAT tiring that at least get the guys to do it.

This is Bobo's take...

People think that good looking people get better treatment. Honestly? If the person is good looking but is horrid inside, Bobo treats the person WORSE than if he were average looking. This is not the first time she sees good-looking people behaving badly because they think they should be princes or princesses.

Hands up, guys who've tried to woo a pretty girl and had to deal with a lot of shit.

Yes the world is unfair... but this is torrid business. Eeeyuck.

Pretty SO WHAT?
Handsome SO WHAT?

So what if the packaging of the can is nice but when you open it's all worms?

And when Bobo hears her guys friends saying... She's so chio (*pretty), you want her to be your gf then you have to do all that la... got competition ma. If she really were a good person, she wouldn't use her looks to manipulate people to wait on her hand and foot.
