Pingsters = Youngers says Bobo Auntie

Bobo was in the Ping.sg Shoutbox when there was some discussion about age and chat stuff people used to use... Most of the Pingsters like Ironicgamer responded MIRC etc. So they concluded that they were from the late 80's and 90s.





Then Bobo happily said she originated from Alamak Chat.... and there was silence... then QUESTION MARKS APPEARED!!! Oh NO! No one knew what Alamak Chat was?!





Bobo initially was slightly excited then waited for someone to say they originated from Alamak Chat... and she waited.... and she waited ....





*Kua Kua* Don't HAVE?!





Determined... Bobo did a search...

TADA!

Bobo really originated from Alamak Chat, which was initially based in the US then now they are based in Singapore! :) Bobo used to miss those days when there were OPERATORS and people who "fight" to be one so that they can chat in colours and special effects! Not to mention they would Kick people out of the channel.

Apparently after some research, Alamak Chat IS slightly older than MIRC... MIRC started in 1995... Anyone else knows Alamak?
