Should She?

As you all know, for some time now, Bobo's been thinking of a job change. She actually loves her current job it's just that it not paying enough. She needs the money for her family at home and at this rate she'll get nowhere. It's quite horrendous that she's paid $1000 less than her colleague who has the same workload and experience. You see, she loves her current job but this job is like a 7 day a week thing. There's a lot of take-home work... despite the boss announcing to the world that it's a 5-day work week. That's utter rubbish.

Anyways, Bobo's sister asked her to try out for the SIA recruitment. Which means to try to be a flight attendant. Bobo's a little apprehensive about that.

Why Bobo should go try:
1) Bobo has never been to many countries, so this could be the chance to travel.
2) It's paying about 3 times what Bobo is earning now.
3) It gives Bobo some free time inbetween flights to do what she wants, like blogging and making accessories.
4) There's little or no take-home work, except when undergoing training....

Why Bobo's apprehensive:
1) It's a character thing. Bobo's never been able to warm up to people quickly so customer service might prove to be a real challenge. She likes having two feet on the ground.
2) Bobo's heard many horror stories in that industry.
3) Love's heard of them too and Bobo doesn't really want to spend so much time away from him.


Requirements to be a SIA girl:
1) Singaporean or Malaysian citizenship
The last time Bobo checked she had a pink IC.

2) Females who are at least 1.58m
Unless it's width, Bobo just made it in height.

3) At least 2 GCE ‘A’-level credits and 2 ‘O’-level credits including General Paper in the GCE ‘A’-level examination; or a Diploma from a local Polytechnic.
(Those with at least 5 GCE ‘O’-level credits, including English, and relevant working experience may also apply).
Well Bobo has 2 GCE 'A' levels and 2 'AO' levels... and she has a diploma from a an institute other than a polytechnic. So that's fine.

4) Completed, are exempted from, or are not liable for National Service. Those in the process of completing NS may also apply.
Not applicable for Bobo.
